IPPOSI is pleased to announce that our 2017 AGM will take place on Wednesday, October 4th, 2017 in the Printworks Building, Dublin Castle.

This year’s Annual General Meeting (full agenda here) will include:

  • A ‘fireside chat’ with Dr Natalie Banner of the Wellcome Trust on ‘Understanding Patient Data’ – a new UK initiative that details the benefits + risks of using patient information to improve health, care and services.
  • Natalie is speaking in the same building later that day at the National Health Information Seminar (jointly hosted by the Department of Health, HSE and HIQA).IPPOSI members attending our AGM may choose to be registered to attend the day-long seminar.
  • The AGM will also mark the launch of a new IPPOSI Board Member Identification and Recruitment Process. A number of board positions are becoming available at the 2017 AGM. If you are interested in finding out what it takes to be a Board member, click here.

The AGM will take place to coincide with the National Health Information Seminar (organised by the Department of Health, HSE and HIQA), which is taking place in the same building on October 4th. IPPOSI’s Derick Mitchell will be one of this event’s speakers, and he will address ‘The Importance of Patient Involvement in Health Information’.

All IPPOSI members attending the AGM are welcome to attend the National Health Information Seminar.

IMPORTANT: Please note that registering for the IPPOSI AGM does not automatically register you for the National Health Information Seminar. In order to attend the National Health Information Seminar, you must register separately. You can do this by emailing info@ipposi.ie.
