The NI Cancer Trials Centre, NI Clinical Research Network and HSC R&D Division, Public Health Agency invite IPPOSI members to a workshop:Building research partnerships.
This free workshop will outline the different types of research methods and terminology used in research and how the public can get involved as well as exploring the issues related to becoming and being a member of the public involved in research.

Who is it for?
People interested in getting involved in research and researchers interested in involving patients and
carers in their research.

How long is it?
1-day workshop from 10:30am until 4:30pm

What will I get out of it?
An understanding of what it means to be involved in research and how patients,
carers and the public can be involved at each stage. This day could also be a first step
towards becoming a facilitator on this course.

When and where?
This workshop will take place on the 15 August 2012 in Belfast.
