All IPPOSI members form part of the EUPATI National Platform in Ireland, and the National Platform is a sub-committee of the IPPOSI Board.

The Platform is guided by an Executive Committee of patients, academics and industry, including trainees and fellows from the EUPATI course, and more recently, students of the IPPOSI Patient Education Programme.

Most EUPATI national platforms are exploring regional synergies with similar platforms in other EUPATI countries.  In this regard, the Irish EUPATI platform is exploring UK-Ireland opportunities with our counterpart in the UK.  January 2018 saw the first meeting between the representatives of both platforms with a view to strengthening relationships at that level.
