IPPOSI wishes to congratulate every EUPATI Expert Patient Trainee who graduated at a wonderful ceremony in Brussels in December 2016. There are now 97 expert patients from all over Europe seeking to drive meaningful patient involvement in medicines R&D, nine of whom are Irish.

The day after the graduation ceremony, the trainees-now-fellows, and many of those fellows who graduated in the first round of the course, all attended a day-long conference that officially marked the end of the EUPATI project in its current form. The conference focused on EUPATI implementation strategies and plans from the project stakeholders in the first session. Then the focus shifted to how to maximize the effect of EUPATI, and then finally: what will EUPATI look like in the future?
