IPPOSI seeking new Board members

//IPPOSI seeking new Board members

IPPOSI is seeking to appoint up to three new directors (board members) at the 2018 IPPOSI AGM on October 8th.

IPPOSI wishes to take this opportunity to thank two long-serving, outgoing Patient Organisation Board members – Dr Tomás Carroll (Alpha-1 Foundation) and Mr Philip Watt (Cystic Fibrosis Ireland) – for years of dedicated service to the IPPOSI Board. We look forward to welcoming equally passionate, active board members in their place.

The IPPOSI Board of Directors (non-executive) is made up of 20 representatives from our current membership – Patient Organisations (8), Science (6) and Industry (6). The Board provide strategic direction and governance to the organisation, helping to support the IPPOSI staff and guide all aspects of our work.

We aim to have a broad range of experiences on the Board from those working in a professional capacity at one of our member organisations.

You can learn more about what the role entails, how to apply and/or make a nomination on the IPPOSI Board page here.
