IPPOSI is embarking on a research project to accurately map a true picture of public and patient involvement in research and healthcare in Ireland.
Are you working in a research centre, a company or a state agency?
Have you recently involved members of the public or patient community in your work?
Was this your first attempt at PPI or are you an experienced practitioner?
Tell us about it!
There has been a lot of activity in the public and patient involvement space in the past 18 months. Our idea is to join up the dots. To do this, we plan to map as many as possible of the opportunities for public and patient involvement across the Irish health sector since 1 January 2019 (policy, services, research, industry).
We have prepared 20 questions to help us ‘build a map’ (some short ‘yes/no’ style questions, some longer ‘comment’ questions). We estimate that it will take around 20-30 minutes to complete. Please help us draw as representative a picture as possible of public and patient involvement in Ireland, by sharing your opportunity with us. The survey will remain open for the duration of the Summer.
To help you know what to include and to learn more about our approach, we invite you to read our Guide to Stakeholders and our Mapping Methodology documents. However, if you encounter any challenges or if you prefer to chat directly with our Research and Advocacy Manager, Laura Kavanagh please email email@example.com
We thank you in advance for any time you volunteered in contributing to our map.
