IPPOSI partnered with eHealth Ireland and the Health Service Executive to co-host the 2016 IPPOSI Round-table event. The event took place in Farmleigh House, Phoenix park, Dublin on June 15th.
IPPOSI believes that every person in the Irish healthcare system should be informed of their health status, educated as to alternative courses of treatment, and responsible for their own wellness. ‘Person-centred eHealth’ has the potential to improve both the efficiency and quality of care and research in Ireland while lessening the demands on the Irish healthcare system. IPPOSI therefore brought together patient organisations, academics, healthcare professionals, and industry to debate and focus on eHealth solutions that highlight the benefits of person-centred healthcare.
